At KIDDYS, our aim is to support families; particularly working parents, by offering flexible childcare arrangements that reflect the hours you genuinely need. We do not require families to commit to unnecessary hours, while ensuring high-quality care and consistent delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Our setting accepts government-funded childcare hours. Accordingly, our Government-funded childcare hours are offered within the following designated session blocks only:
Morning Session
8:00am – 1:00pm (5 hours)
Afternoon Session
1:00pm – 6:00pm (5 hours)
Full Day Session
8:00am – 6:00pm (10 hours)
Funded places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and the age of the child, in line with staffing ratios and EYFS requirements.
Funded sessions are reserved exclusively for your child. We encourage families to use the full session as booked. If a child is collected early, any unused portion of the session cannot be transferred, carried over, or refunded, as staffing and resources have already been allocated.
Any changes to session start or end times are subject to availability and may incur additional charges for time outside funded hours.
Unused funded hours cannot be used for ad-hoc care or banked for future use.
Self-paying families benefit from our flexible fee structure, designed to accommodate varying work patterns while maintaining consistency and continuity for children.
To support effective learning and the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, a minimum booking of 5 hours per day applies to our standard sessions.
Fees are based on the number of days attended per week, with reduced hourly rates available for families attending more frequently.
Attendance of fewer than 5 hours on any given day is charged at £8.00 per hour, regardless of the number of days attended.

Meals
Children must attend with a packed lunch and any required snacks, as meals are not provided as part of our childcare fees. We encourage healthy, balanced food choices in line with government guidance.
Nut-Free Setting
KIDDYS is a nut-free setting. Nuts are not permitted under any circumstances, as some children may have severe allergic reactions.
All uneaten food and waste will be returned home in your child’s lunchbox. This allows parents to monitor food intake and helps reduce waste by enabling suitable food to be reused at home.
Fresh drinking water is provided for all children throughout the day.
Food Monitoring
Details of food and drink consumed are recorded in children’s daily diaries to support clear communication with parents.
Consumables
Parents are responsible for providing all personal consumables, including nappies/pull-ups, wipes, and formula or specialist milk. We do not administer medication.
KIDDYS does not currently offer trips or outings; therefore, no additional charges apply.
Our school drop-off and pick-up service is available as an additional service to families registered with KIDDYS, subject to availability.
